Investigator Bianca Martin
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department
Bianca Martin is a crime-scene investigator whose Police Chaplain Project interviews explore the emotional demands of moving from one difficult scene to the next. Drawing on her work with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, she describes how chaplains support families and bystanders while also checking on investigators. Her account shows why the people doing this work need someone who understands what they carry.
