5 Things You Can Do at ChaplainUSA.
Visitors to ChaplainUSA.org can feel overwhelmed by all the content, so we created this list of 5 things you can do here.
1. Share with your friends one of the best kept secrets in America – police chaplaincy.
After every tragedy, mass shooting, natural disaster and line of duty death – it is a police chaplain who steps into the void and heals broken lives.
Yet, few citizens have even heard of a police chaplain. Together, we can change all that.
Share this website with like-minded friends. Help us build a bold, new awareness of just how vital chaplains are to the community.
2. Introduce yourself to a police chaplain and thank them for their service.
Have you ever ridden in an elevator full of police chaplains? It’s a whirlwind of goodwill.
That same feeling of support can be found on our Facebook page and groups. Our growing online community is inspiring people to roll up their sleeves and better engage real world solutions.
And while you’re there, say “thank you for your service”. It means the world to a chaplain know the community supports their hard work.
3. Put a chaplain in your pocket.
ChaplainUSA is doing something that is way overdue – we’re giving America’s police chaplains a voice. The program is called the Police Chaplain Project, a nationwide effort to digitally capture the words and wisdom of America's police chaplains.
Featuring some of the most accomplished chaplains of the past 50 years, the Police Chaplain Project collects the wisdom and know-how of America's police chaplains and transforms it into ready to use information for crisis responders.
Visit the online video archive and help us build a circle of support and gratitude for law enforcement officers and the chaplains who serve them.
4. Get inspired.
ChaplainUSA features writing of Robert Kenneth Jones. Read it and be inspired.
In a career spanning over four decades, Bob’s work helping people recover from childhood abuse and addiction have earned him the respect of his peers.
His bi-weekly Journal is the culmination of a lifetime of experience and wisdom that never fails to reveal to his readers God’s hand, sometimes hidden in plain sight.
Join us each Sunday morning and Wednesday afternoon and walk in gratitude.
5. Fill the silence that surrounds grief with words of hope.

Survivor Network is a special program of the Police Chaplain Project where police survivors can find words of hope from chaplains and kindred spirits from within the faith community.
Leveraging the internet's unique ability to connect people to content, the Survivor Network reaches those who might not otherwise seek help. The online resource fills the silence that often surrounds grief with words of hope and healing from police chaplains and other members of the survivor community.
For those in grief, simply listening to a police chaplain offers a path forward.

How to Participate in the Police Chaplain Project
Police chaplains are urged to add their story to the project.
We kept it simple. We schedule you to join us at the taping location – sometimes in your area, more often in Austin, Texas.
The program’s executive director, Phillip LeConte, will guide you through an informal, on-camera conversation about chaplaincy.
The digital content we collect is a springboard for educational initiatives that support chaplaincy.
Crisis Resources
Crisis workers make split-second decisions every day that affect the well-being of individuals, families, schools and entire communities.
